My first Real Techniques Brushes REVIEW

I've finally managed to get my hands on a couple of Real Techniques brushes and here's my review…

OK before you take a look at the pictures I just want to make a disclaimer: These are not a dead body's hands but simply mine in bad lighting- the different colour background is a giveaway. But you can see the brushes and that's what matters right?!

Brushes, yes brushes, back to the brushes.

I've finally managed to get my hands on a couple of Real Techniques brushes and they are amazing!! I bought the Expert Face Brush (left) and the small Setting Brush (right).

The packaging is lovely and sturdy but easy to open AND close again. So, I decided to keep the boxes for when I'm on the road. I find the brushes are lightweight, super soft and they do not shed. I'm not excited about the colour, but their great grip and balance make up for that. They are made of synthetic fibres, so cruelty free. For about 7-9$ a piece on Amazon I say this is an amazing deal!

You got past the horror hands OK? Right let's get on with the review then…

I use the Expert Face Brush for buffing in my foundation and/or concealer. It's very gentle on the skin and gives an amazingly quick and flawless look. It's small and dense which works great on my small face and with my (lack off) technique. The Setting Brush I use to set the concealer under my eyes. It picks up the right amount of product and is exactly the right size.

Both brushes can be used with powder, cremes and liquids. So, I just ordered another pair of these. An Expert Face Brush to set my foundation with and a Setting Brush to blend my concealer with. I also added the Blush Brush to my basket as an add on item on Amazon.

I'll review how the new additions fare in a new blog post soon!
